About Us
Tevebaugh & Associates was born out of a desire to be obedient to God's call on my life. As a Pastor's son, I have always had a desire to help Christians achieve God's desire for their success. I entered the financial planning profession in 1986 working with Pastors; Missionaries; and many others in full time Christian work. Although this work created much satisfaction, there was still something missing in my heart as I continued to pursue God's plan for my business. In December of 2001 I moved to central Florida in order to familiarize myself with a seminar series designed to teach Biblical principles of investing in the local church.
In late January of 2002 after finishing a 3 week seminar series in a local church, I was invited to a week end cook out to "meet some friends". It was at this cook out that I met my wonderful wife, Debbie. We fell in love and my Father married us in May of that year. Debbie and I began serving the Lord together, teaching in local churches, meeting with Pastors and sharing our "heart for God."
In October of 2004 we were able to move into our own office and begin what is now "Tevebaugh & Associates". We have followed God's leading in our lives and ministry to create a "Biblically based financial and estate planning firm".
While we are a full service financial planning firm, we approach the entire planning process from a Biblical "world-view". We design and implement financial plans that consider what God would desire in our investments. Our recommendations are screened so that they do not profit from abortion; pornography; non-marriage lifestyles; or anti-family entertainment.
We encourage our clients to look at all they have as "stewards" not "owners" after all, everything we have belongs to God. Finally, we look for ways to "invest in the Kingdom of God" in the areas of charitable gifting and Biblical estate planning. I think our entire purpose as a firm can be summed up this way: Our desire is to help our clients manage all that God has entrusted to them so one day they can hear those words: "Well done my good and faithful servant."
